The stitching extends to the rear to ensure that the side pieces are not going to peel or split while also adding strength. The latch features a real lock and key mechanism with a chrome non-tarnishable finish. The beautiful mottled leather finish ensures that fingerprints will not show up every time that this case is opened, while also being very easy to clean with just a damp cloth.

Finally there is a strong molded handle which is bolted internally with added reinforcement plate. This will carry the heaviest of chess sets without there ever being a problem!
