Each base is fitted with green coloured baize cloth flocking. Set has a perfect balance to streamline game play. A remarkable price for such a quality set of chess pieces.

The accurate hand carving is really something to be admired. The artisans have spent countless hours creating this sublime chess set. It takes approximately 40 hours to complete a single set! When you consider each set consists 32 counterparts and 2 additional queens!! that is 34 pieces to one full set, an arduous task one would imagine. Like the game of chess, one requires great patience and so does making chess pieces of this extremely high level of quality.
