Returns Policy (Compliant with UK Distance Selling Regulations)

We strive to ensure that our returns policy is clear and complies with current UK Distance Selling Regulations.

📋 Eligibility for Refund:

  • Goods must be unused and in pristine, resalable condition.
  • All original retail packaging must be intact.

⏳ Return Deadline:

  • You have 14 days to notify us of your intent to return the item.
  • You then have an additional 16 days from the date of notification to return the item, giving a total of 30 days.

📦 Packaging Requirements:

  • The product must be in pristine, unused condition.
  • Return the item with all original packaging, including the outer brown cardboard carton. If the original outer packaging is missing, use a suitable replacement for safe transportation.
  • Ensure that the branded inner packaging is intact and undamaged. Using only the inner packaging may complicate the return process.
  • Keep the inner packaging clean and free from parcel tape to aid in resale.
  • Ideally, use the original outer carton for shipping. Retain and reuse corner protectors if they were included with your chess board.

📝 Required Information:

  • Include your name, address, phone number, and order number (if possible).
  • Adding a copy of your packing slip can help expedite the process.

🚚 Return Shipping:

  • It is recommended to use Parcel Force at your local post office or a home collection courier service like Parcel2Go for competitive rates.
  • Ensure the item is well-insured for the journey back, following the packaging requirements.
  • The cost of return shipping for unwanted goods is not covered by the company.

⏱️ Refund Processing Time:

  • Typically, refunds will be processed within 2-6 days of receiving the returned item.

🔄 Exchanges:

  • If you wish to exchange an item, please initiate a return for a refund first, then place a new order for the desired item.

  1. Securely pack the set in its original packaging.
  2. Include your contact details and the packing slip.
  3. Safely return the item.
