The board is immaculate, there is a great finish on it and the light reflects wonderfully off it. Great price as well and pairs well with the Leningrad 3.75 Inch Leningrad Boxwood & Black Chess Pieces. Highly recommend.

Lovely compact set very tactile wonderfully carved knights would have given five stars but board needed a very light sand round edges and rooks had a few little burrs all in all really pleased and this is our second purchase need I say more.
