A Chess Set with Centuries of Character

The Isle of Lewis chessmen are among the most recognisable historic chess designs in the world. Their expressive faces, distinctive clothing and individual personalities give them a character quite unlike conventional Staunton pieces. This reproduction set captures that medieval appearance while creating a practical chess set that can be enjoyed for regular play as well as display. Paired with a warm walnut and maple chessboard and supplied in a branded presentation box, it makes a memorable gift for a chess player, history enthusiast or anyone looking for something more distinctive than a traditional chess set.
